World Summit for the Information Society 20-Year Review (WSIS+20) > Endorse the Internet Society’s Contribution to the WSIS+20 Elements Paper
Endorse the Internet Society’s Contribution to the WSIS+20 Elements Paper
The Internet Society has finalized its written contribution to the WSIS+20 Elements Paper, shaped by valuable input from our global community. This includes insights gathered through a dedicated networking session at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025 meeting, a community feedback form, open-door calls, bilateral meetings, and direct emails.
We now invite you to endorse the Internet Society’s submission to the WSIS+20 Elements Paper, which reflects the diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives of our community worldwide.
More Information: The WSIS+20 review is a pivotal moment for the global community to take stock of two decades of progress toward achieving the WSIS vision. The process will culminate in the WSIS+20 High-Level Meeting of the UN General Assembly, scheduled for 16–17 December 2025.
In preparation for it, the United Nations is inviting contributions from all stakeholders to inform the development of the Zero Draft of the outcome document. The process follows the indicative roadmap shared by the WSIS+20 Co-Facilitators, which will guide the intergovernmental negotiations and the participation of other stakeholders.
By endorsing this contribution, you’ll help ensure our community’s voice contributes to shaping WSIS+20 outcomes that reaffirm the WSIS principles as critical enablers of an Internet for everyone.
